President's Message

 

Hello everyone,

Okay, I just have to get this ranting out of the way….I am tired of this freezing temperature!!!  This is just wrong.  The only good thing is that now when I leave at 5:00 the sun is just setting.  So it gives me hope that the winter will end someday.

Our next meeting is February 12 and we will be offering an hour of CE.  The topic is Workers Compensation Developments and Trends.  I hope to see you all next Tuesday for a little education.  Also, our Nominating Committee will be giving their recommendations for the 2008/2009 board.  Who will they be???

After that, on February 14th there will be 2 classes for a total of 3 hrs of CE at the BP Center.  Thank you very much Suzy for coordinating this.  Anyone who has not yet signed up and would still like to please contact Suzy at suzy@mjhallandcompany.com .

I have also signed up a team for Bowl For Kids Sake.  I have signed up a team of 6 for IPA.  I will have the pledge forms the last week of the month and will pass out at the March general meeting.  The event will take place on 4/12 time TBD (but am looking at an hour sometime between 11AM and 2PM).  If you would like to participate or would like more information please let me know at rolson@alaskanational.com .This will be a very fun event and an opportunity to help raise money Big Brothers Big Sisters.
